Can’t wait to try our treats?!
You’re in luck! We’re still waiting on our trailer to be built, but in the meantime we’ll be handing out FREE samples at a few events soon:
- Gathering of the Tribes // April 21st – We’ll have a table set up with FREE samples (Wheat-free samples, too!) at this huge vegetarian/vegan potluck! We’ve also donated two gift certificates for a half-dozen cupcakes to the raffle! Come out and enjoy the weather with us! 4pm @ Pease Park!
- MonkeyWrench 10th Anniversary Party // April 22nd – Come celebrate 10 years with our favorite radical bookstore! Monkeywrench is the home of many awesome community events, and they host Austin’s World Wide Vegan Bakesale each year! We’ll be bringing special cupcakes to give out for FREE; look for our table! 6pm @ 110 E North Loop!
We’ll also be sponsoring this years World Wide Vegan Bakesale in Austin on April 29th! This is an event that is close to my heart; I (Kristen) have participated in and donated to this event for the past three years, and I can’t wait to sponsor it for the first year representing Capital City Bakery! 100% of the proceeds go to Charity- this year the money is going to Sunny Day Farms, which is an amazing organization with some truly great people behind it. We’ll be bringing mini cupcakes, mini whoopie pies, and a few other items! I generally try to go all-out with cupcake decorations for events like this, so you won’t want to miss it! 12pm @ 110 E North Loop!
